Who we are

This website is operated by Trust Cleaning Group Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a cleaning company serving homes and businesses across Leicestershire & the East Midlands. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not have a separate data protection officer. For privacy questions, contact us using the details above.

What information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your postcode
• The type of clean, how often you need it, and any add-ons you select
• Anything you choose to add in the message field, such as property size or preferred dates

When you apply for a job we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The role you are interested in, the areas you can cover and whether you have your own transport
• Your CV (PDF, DOC or DOCX) and anything you choose to tell us about your experience

If you become a customer we will also hold the details needed to deliver and invoice the work, such as the service address, access notes, agreed scope and payment records.

If you email or call us, we will hold the information you provide in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered securely and protected from abuse.

If you allow analytics cookies, Dotwall Monitor also records how the site is used. That can include the pages you view, device size, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), and — if you fill in a quote or job form while analytics is on — contact fields you type such as name, email, phone, postcode and message. We do not use Google Analytics. See our cookie policy for the storage we use and how to switch analytics off.

Why we use it and the lawful basis

UK GDPR requires a lawful basis for each use of personal information. Ours are:

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to. We never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share information with organisations that help us run the website and our business, and only as far as they need it:

• Netlify hosts this website, runs the quote and application forms, and stores a backup of each submission (including CV filenames, not the file itself in the backup log) so we do not lose an enquiry if email is delayed.
• Resend sends the emails generated by those forms, including CVs attached to job applications, and the confirmation email you receive.
• Dotwall (who built this website) provides Dotwall Monitor at monitor.dotwall.co.uk. If you allow analytics, visit and form-field data described above is sent to that service so we can see how the site is used. It is not an advertising network.
• Google provides Google Analytics, which only loads if you allow analytics. It tells us how the site is used, not who you are.
• Our email, accounting and scheduling tools, if you become a customer or we need to process an application.

We do not share browsing data with Google Analytics or similar advertising platforms.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

• Quote enquiries that do not become a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted
• Job applications we do not take forward: up to 12 months, then deleted
• Customer, booking and financial records: up to 6 years after our last service, as required for tax and accounting
• Technical hosting logs: only as long as needed for security and delivery of the site
• Cookie preference storage: until you clear it in your browser or change your preferences
• Analytics storage in your browser: a visitor id for that calendar day, a session id for about 30 minutes, and arrival details for up to 30 days — or until you clear site data or switch analytics off

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (access)
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
• Receive your information in a portable format, where the legal conditions are met
• Withdraw consent, where we rely on consent (for example analytics cookies)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@trustcleaninggroup.com. We will respond within one month. You do not have to pay a fee in most cases.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Children

This website and our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
